Sarah Hearne (MSc)

Sarah is putting her best foot forward as she guides and supports her client’s in obtaining their health, wellness, and physique goals.

She is constantly adding more tools to her toolbox to further educate our community on how to achieve these goals safely while in a result-driven environment.Before she found MH Performance, Sarah was one to undereat and overtrain. MH is where she was introduced to the reverse diet and quickly learned first-hand that eating more got her leaner, sleeping better, and feeling more energised. Go figure!

Sarah also has PCOS. This means she understands the frustration of being given the ‘band-aid treatment’ from general practitioners, rather than focusing on the true cause and how to actually support and nurture her condition. This has grown her interest in the functional health realm in the hope to do the same for others. Sarah is now determined to help those in similar situations, allowing her to connect with her clients through personal experience and knowledge.

The atmosphere in the gym is really fun and encouraging

I’m so glad I did another term at MH Performance this year and have really enjoyed attending my weekly classes with my friends from my Venetians netball team. I was keen to do another program after doing some earlier in the year and seeing if I could improve my fitness and some netball specific movements even further. As a result of the program, I can feel in myself that I have gained more leg strength, jump height and reaction speed which have all helped me have one of my best seasons playing netball.

The atmosphere in the gym is really fun and encouraging, not just for me, but for all the girls in my class, and I am really grateful to my instructor Sarah for all her advice and assistance over the course of the term. Big thanks also to Venetians who again.

Going to MH Performance; where everyone says hi to you as soon as you walk through the door has truly changed my outlook on strength training.

I came to MH Performance a very stressed and physically broken individual. After tearing my ACL and meniscus in my right knee in July last year my physical strength and motivation had severely deteriorated. I started working with Sarah in October and having never been keen on gyms before I was a little hesitant. Not only was I so surprised by how in tune Sarah was with my injury but how I started to feel stronger both mentally and physically so quickly!

Small changes like not getting so bloated during the day, feeling I could trust my own body again and confident with my nutrition resulted in a day to day happier and healthier
mindset. I look forward to my sessions every week, and really miss them if I have a break. Going to MH Performance; where everyone says hi to you as soon as you walk through the door has truly changed my outlook on strength training. Sarah has become not only my coach but my motivator, my therapist (she knows I love a chat) and health guru.
